Day 1, Jun. 9, Thu Arrival:

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, you will be met by our representative and escorted to the Paradise Premium Hotel Bethlehem.

Day 2, Jun. 10, Fri Jerusalem: (BD)

Ascend the Mount of Olives to enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Jerusalem. Visit Pater Noster Church, marking the spot where Our Lord taught his prayer to his disciples, the Chapel of the Ascension honoring the last place he stood on earth, and the Church of Dominus Flevit, where he wept over the fate of Jerusalem. Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. In the afternoon, we enter the Old City from St. Stephen Gate walk the via Dolorosa into the church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.

Jun. 11, Sat Bethlehem and Ein Karem: (BD)

Today you will explore Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ, celebrated by the Church of the Nativity. See the Milk Grotto, where Mary breastfed the baby Jesus, which has become a place of pilgrimage for those suffering from infertility problems, and Beit Savour, where the angels proclaimed the birth of Christ to the shepherds. Drive on to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, and see the Church of the Visitation, where Mary visited her pregnant cousin Elizabeth.

Jun. 12, Sun Nablus/Mount Temptation/Bethany: (BD)

Today you will visit Nablus, the site of Jacob’s Well. Take a cable car up Mount Temptation, where the devil tempted Jesus at the outset of his public ministry. Stop at the Dead Sea Visit Bethany, home of his friends Mary, Martha and Lazarus.

Jun. 13, Mon Lod/Jaffa/Nazareth/Tel-Aviv: (BD)

This morning you will visit Lod and see the Church of St George, the patron saint of England. Tour the port of Jaffa, where St Peter raised the disciple Tabitha from the dead, before driving north to Galilee. Spend the night at the El-Golan hotel in Tiberias.

Jun. 14, Tue Galilee: (BLD)

Today you will visit Yardenit on the Jordan River, traditionally believed to be the site of Jesus’ baptism by John. Tour Capernaum, the fishing village that became the center of his ministry. Lunch today will be at St Peter’s Fish Restaurant. Proceed to Mount Beatitudes, where he delivered the Sermon on the Mount, and Tabgha, where he fed multitudes from a few loaves and fishes. See the Church honoring Peter’s Primacy and Cana, site of his first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Jun 15, Wed Nazareth: (BD)

This morning you will visit Mt Tabor and see Mt Transfiguration. The rest of the day is devoted to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home. Visit both churches, Orthodox and Catholic, dedicated to the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel told Mary that she was to be the Mother of God. See the Church of St Joseph, commemorating his Workshop as a carpenter.

Jun 16, Thu Departure: (B)

Drive back to Tel Aviv and transfer to the airport. The passengers who are taking the Israel trip without any extension will board your homeward flight.
