Itinerary:

DAY 01:

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel, to start your Egypt tour package Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 02:

Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the defending Sphinx. End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

DAY 03:

After breakfast embark on your excursion to Alexandria. Drive to Alexandria across the desert road. Remainder of the day at leisure. Alexandria is the second largest city in Egypt. It is known as "The Pearl of the Mediterranean". The atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. Its ambience and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of the country although it is actually only 225 km. from Cairo. Time to explore the beachfront! Overnight in Alexandria. (B)

DAY 04:

Today enjoy a full day tour of Alexandria including lunch. Visit the Catacomb of Kom El Shukafa, Alexandria National Museum, the Library at Alexandria, Roman Ampitheatre, and Montazah Palace and Gardens. Overnight in Alexandria. (B/L)

DAY 05

Day at leisure. Alexandria is a city to explore at random. It's as important to enjoy the atmosphere as it is to see the sights. Alexandria has been immortalized by writers such as E-M- Forster and Cavafy. Generations of immigrants from Greece, Italy and the Levant settled here and made the city synonymous with commerce, cosmopolitanism and bohemian culture. Overnight in Alexandria. (B)

DAY 06:

After breakfast return to Cairo. Balance of day at leisure or Optional Sound and Light Show available this evening. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 07:

You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight. (B)
