Itinerary:

SAT - DAY 01 - CAIRO-ARRIVAL:

WELCOME TO CAIRO! Upon arrival at the International Airport in Cairo, our representative will meet you and assist you through customs and formalities. You will be transferred to your hotel.

SUN - DAY 02 - CAIRO: (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a visit of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Rest of day at leisure.

MON-DAY 03 - CAIRO/LUXOR: (BLD)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will assist and transfer you to your luxury cruise ship for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise . Accommodations aboard your cruise ship will consist of an outside cabin with private facilities. Cross the Nile to visit the West Bank (Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi Memon). After lunch, you will visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples.

TUE - DAY 04 - LUXOR/ESNA/EDFU: (BLD)

Sail to Esna. Continue sailing to Edfu. Enjoy a Galabia party on board.

WED - DAY 05 - EDFU/KOM OMBO/ASWAN: (BLD)

Today you will ride in a horse-drawn carriage which brings you through the town of Edfu to the temple of Horus, the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Kom-Ombo and visit the twin temples of Horus the falcon god and Sobek the crocodile god. Sail to Aswan and dock for the night.

THU - DAY 06 - ASWAN: (BLD)

Today you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, the Aswan Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch, sail in a traditional felucca among the islands in the Nile.

FRI - DAY 07 - ASWAN/ABU-SIMBEL/CAIRO: (B)

After breakfast, you will disembark the cruise and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. (Optional excursion to Abu-Simbel; where you will see the fascinating temples of Ramses II and his Queen Nefertari, moved to their current location after the Aswan Dam was built.)

SAT - DAY 08 - CAIRO: (BL)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will get to visit the Manial Palace an Ottoman Egyptian dynasty era palace, Saladin Citadel a medieval Islamic fortification, Alabaster Mosque which was built in memory of Muhammad Ali’s oldest son, and the Sultan Hassan Mosque which is a massive Mamluk era mosque and madrassa located near the Citadel. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

​SUN - DAY 09 - CAIRO: (BL)

Today you will tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Saint Sergius Church and the Moallaka (hanging) Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Then, you will head to the Coptic museum.

​MON - DAY 10 - CAIRO: (BL)

Today you will visit Bab el futuh (conquest gate) and Bab el nasr (victory gate), two of the three remaining great gates in the Old City walls. In the evening, you will drive to Khan El-Khalili, a major souk in Cairo, for some shopping.

​TUE - DAY 11 - CAIRO: (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Giza to visit the magnificent Great Pyramids and the defending Sphinx. In the evening, you will have dinner on a cruise boat in the Nile with a folkloric show.

​WED - DAY 12 - CAIRO: (B)

Today is a free day to re-visit any sites and to enjoy Cairo on your own.

​THU - DAY 13 - CAIRO - DEPARTURE: (B)

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
