Itinerary:

SAT - DAY 01 - CAIRO

Upon arrival at the International Airport in Cairo, our representative will meet you and assist you through customs and formalities. You will be transferred to your hotel.

SUN - DAY 02 - CAIRO: (B)

Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Cairo. Start by visiting the Egyptian Museum, then visit the Manial Palace Museum, once a royal residence. We then climb the hill to the east to Saladins Citadel with its alabaster mosque, then descend to the great Sultan Hassan Mosque, built in 1362 for a powerful Mameluke king.

MON-DAY 03 - CAIRO/LUXOR: (BLD)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will assist and transfer you to your luxury cruise ship for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard your cruise ship will consist of an outside cabin with private facilities. Cross the Nile to visit the West Bank (Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi Memon). After lunch, you will visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples.

TUE - DAY 04 - LUXOR/ESNA/EDFU: (BLD)

Sail to Esna. Continue sailing to Edfu. Enjoy a Galabia party on board.

WED - DAY 05 - EDFU/KOM OMBO/ASWAN: (BLD)

Today you will ride in a horse-drawn carriage which brings you through the town of Edfu to the temple of Horus, the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Kom-Ombo and visit the twin temples of Horus the falcon god and Sobek the crocodile god. Sail to Aswan and dock for the night.

THU - DAY 06 - ASWAN: (BLD)

Today you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, the Aswan Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch, sail in a traditional felucca among the islands in the Nile.

FRI - DAY 07 - ASWAN/ABU-SIMBEL/CAIRO: (B)

After breakfast, you will disembark the cruise and transfer to the airport for your flight to Abu-Simbel; where you will see the fascinating temples of Ramses II and his Queen Nefertari, moved to their current location after the Aswan Dam was built. Fly back to Cairo via Aswan. Rest of the evening at leisure.

SAT - DAY 08 - CAIRO/SHARM: (BD)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Sharm El-Sheik. For the next 3 nights you will get to enjoy the Red Sea. Optional activities are available upon request.

SUN & MON - DAY 09 & 10 - SHARM: (BD)

Leisure time to enjoy on your own. On Monday you will be transferred to the airport for your evening flight back to Cairo.

TUE - DAY 11 - ALEXANDRIA: (BLD)

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will drive for 3 hours to Alexandria, the city founded by Alexander the Great. We will visit the Greco-Roman Museum, Kayet Bey Fortress, the Catacombs, Pompeys Pillar and the Roman Amphitheater. Finally we marvel at the Princess Shevikar Crown with 2,159 diamonds, in the former royal palace which now serves as the Jewelry Museum.

WED - DAY 12 - ALEXANDRIA/EL-ALAMEIN: (BL)

Today we will visit the battlegrounds of WWII, the museum and the Allied Memorial. Then, drive back to Cairo.

THU - DAY 13 - CAIRO - CITY TOUR: (BL)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Giza to visit the Great Pyramids and the defending Sphinx. End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili (if time permits).

FRI - DAY 14 - CAIRO/DEPARTURE: (B)

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
